iPad Power Button Repair & Replacement

Are you facing problems with your iPad Power Button? We can help!

Is your iPad power button not working at all? Did it get jammed or stuck after a fall? If yes, our tech genius at CelMetro can repair your iPad the same day we receive it.

The power/sleep/wake button on your iPad can stop working or malfunction when exposed to water. The switch can get jammed after a fall, or it’s your case that obstructs the button.

There are several steps you can do before bringing in your iPad for repair:

Clean the Power Button:

  1. If you are using any protective case, remove it to see if it is blocking or obstructing the power button.
  2. Inspect the power button closely for any damage.
  3. Check if any dust or debris accumulated around the button. If yes, clean it with a dry microfibre cloth or use a soft-bristled toothbrush without using any liquid or cleaning agent.

If you feel the movement and click of the button, and if it still does not work, you can restart your iPad for a final troubleshooting step.

Restart your iPad using Assistive touch:

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch and enable AssistiveTouch
  2. You will now see a small button on your iPad screen. Tap it.
  3. Tap on Device > More > Restart and tap on Restart when prompted.
