What is an iPhone 6 Plus touch disease?

Did you get your iPhone 6 Plus screen replaced but started seeing problems with the screen again or started having problems with the touch functionality, in a few days or weeks? You’re not alone.

In certain cases, iPhone 6 Plus users can experience problems after an LCD screen replacement on their device. This is due to the design of the device as recognized by Apple and it does not happen through any fault of the service provider or because of the parts installed.

These symptoms may include:

  • Multi-Touch functionality issues
  • Flickering of screen
  • Decreased or blurry resolution of the screen

Why does it happen?

There is a component in the device – Touch IC, that transmits signals between the CPU and the screen to generate the functionality you want. The connection is established through sensitive spherical transmitters that get damaged if the device falls on a hard surface. Therefore, after the repair sometimes the symptoms listed above may arise.

Here is what you can do:

  • We recommend you get the LCD screen checked first. Call any of our stores to find out about fixing your screen or to consult with any of our service advisors. You can save some money and time this way. Apple will not accept your device if the LCD screen is damaged and these symptoms are not prevalent in any case.
  • Next, if your screen is intact and you are still facing touch issues, then you need to book an appointment with Apple Store by calling them on 80004441819, they will process the replacement of your device for AED 849 only, and you will have a brand-new functional iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus again.
